ERP Functional Consultant


Job Description

  1. Provide ERP functional consulting expertise, leveraging industry experience and strong knowledge of various business domains.
  2. Conduct personalization sessions with customers during the pre-sales phase to understand their business requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  3. Identify and manage business requirements, including functional design, system analysis, and GAP analysis.
  4. Conduct end-user training and prepare business requirement documents (BRD) and prototypes.
  5. Design process flows and scenarios, perform testing, and define support procedures for ERP implementations.
  6. Offer ERP application solutions to a diverse range of high-profile customers.
  7. Provide architectural direction and guidance throughout the entire ERP implementation cycle.
  8. Collaborate with application developers to define customizations and integration requirements.
  9. Manage the full life cycle of ERP implementation and testing phases.
  10. Develop solution designs based on standard ERP features and guide customers through implementation and support.
  11. Evaluate customer business requirements and convert them into company processes and solutions.
  12. Oversee configuration processes, from initial setup to acceptance and sign-off.
  13. Provide ERP functional consulting and training services at customer sites as needed.
  14. Contribute to implementation deliverables, such as functional specifications, test cases, and standard operating procedures.
  15. Interact with end-users and business owners to align applications with standard business processes and conduct gap analysis.
  16. Ensure the ERP system meets business expectations, conduct testing, and monitor performance and security requirements.
  17. Troubleshoot configuration issues and facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  18. Translate business requirements for technical team members and communicate technology solutions to customers.
  19. Create functional requirements for application design.
  20. Conduct cut-over and go-live processes, and assist with system testing.
  21. Supervise, mentor, and train junior consultants and business analysts.
  22. Conduct business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with new customers.
  23. Document configuration settings and provide guidelines for future changes or repairs.
  24. Ensure proper training is provided to end-users and validate system usability and accuracy of business flows.


Key Skills

  1. Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in any famous ERP systems like ERP NEXT, Odoo, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.
  2. Master's degree in Business Administration, Global Business; with strong experience in any 3 vertices or business domains among Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurements, Wholesale Industry, Services or Retails, etc.
  3. Critical thinker: An analytical approach to problem-solving.
  4. Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a roll-up-the-sleeves and get-the-job-done attitude.
  5. Strong business judgment and common sense.
  6. Master in Product Demonstrations. Knowledge of ERPNext would be an added advantage.
  7. Affinity with the IT world, understanding of what an ERP is and what Open Source is.
  8. Initiative, creativity, and a passion to deliver results that make a difference.
  9. Well-rounded individual with varied interests and experience.
  10. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable).
  11. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  12. Proven experience of working in Migration Projects.
  13. High focus on customer service and passionate about ensuring customer requirements are met.
  14. Natural analytical way of thinking and ability to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
